HCC Solicitors Announced as Official Legal Support Partner for Child Brain Injury Trust in Manchester
9th Apr 2025
We are proud to announce our partnership with the Child Brain Injury Trust (CBIT) as the designated Legal Support Service provider for the North West region, specifically serving families in Manchester. This collaboration is part of CBIT’s newly restructured Legal Support Service, aimed at offering independent legal advice to families and young people affected by childhood-acquired brain injury (ABI).
Childhood-acquired brain injuries can profoundly impact families, presenting complex legal challenges related to education, healthcare, and financial stability. Recognising these challenges, CBIT has established a nationwide network of expert law firms to provide specialised legal support tailored to each family’s unique circumstances.
As the appointed legal partner for Manchester, We are committed to delivering compassionate, expert legal guidance to families navigating the complexities of childhood ABI. Our ‘Family First’ approach aligns seamlessly with CBIT’s mission to offer holistic support, ensuring that families receive not only legal assistance but also emotional and practical support through CBIT’s dedicated ABI Coordinators.
Brian Coghlan, Director at HCC Solicitors, expressed his enthusiasm about the partnership:
“We are extremely proud to be selected as one of CBIT’s trusted legal partners, helping families whose children have been seriously injured. As specialists in child injury cases, our ‘Family First’ approach aligns perfectly with CBIT’s invaluable work. This partnership is a natural fit, and we are honored to be part of it.”
Families in the North West, specifically the Greater Manchester area, seeking legal advice related to childhood ABI can now access our services through CBIT’s Legal Support Service. This initiative ensures that no family has to face the legal challenges of childhood-acquired brain injury alone.
