HCC London office boosts headcount with arrival of two top serious injury lawyers

We are pleased to confirm that we have boosted the headcount of the HCC team in London with the arrival of two experienced lawyers.
Elizabeth Hayward joins HCC as a Senior Associate from Clyde & Co. Liz has more than twenty years’ claimant and defendant catastrophic injury experience. At HCC she will focus exclusively on representing claimants with severe and life changing injuries, and families that have been bereaved. This includes spinal cord injury, traumatic brain injury, orthopaedic injury, amputation and psychological trauma.
Liz has a particular interest representing claimants injured in accidents involving animals, especially equine cases, and has achieved success with a number of these cases. Liz has concluded numerous claims during her 20-year career, many of which have involved disputes on liability and have been settled at values in excess of £1m.
Heather Petrie joins HCC as a Senior Associate from Bolt Burdon Kemp. Heather specialises in claimant catastrophic injury claims and in particular has highly specialist experience in guiding people and families who have been affected by circumstances leading to a traumatic brain injury. Heather has fought for catastrophically injured clients for over a decade and is an accredited Litigator at the Association of Personal Injury Lawyers (APIL) and a keen motorcyclist, so has a particular passion and tenacity for representing clients negligently injured in road traffic collisions.
